Classroom Holocaust Museum was a project by Miljenko Hajdarovic during the school year 2008/2009. It was based on idea by Wayne MacIntyre (Canada). During International conference at Yad Vashem in 2008 Wayne said:
I would like to see 60 schools open a classroom Holocaust Museum in the same week in countries around the world. Each classroom could use 100 000 paper clips as the focal point of the museums. This would represent the 6 million who perished. I think this could draw a great deal of positive public attention to the Holocaust.
The idea was very interesting so I offered it to my students. They were pretty enthusiastic about it so I had to choose 24 of them for the extracurricular activity “History group”. We worked very hard from September 2008 up to January 2009 when we opened our “Classroom History Museum”.
