I think it is wonderful that such effort is being made to help children understand the tragedy of the Holocaust. It was hard for me to believe all this happened when I first learned about it in World History. A classmate brought photos that his grandfather was able to take of piles of bodies. That helped me to grasp the horror. I think you should also have a link to the Paper Clips project by a group of students from a small town in Tennessee. A DVD documentary was made and is very powerful.

your museum looks great, as a parent of a child who was involved in Mr. MacIntyres first museum I am so moved and excited to see it continue, not just in Canada but other countries as well. The kids got so much from it and you will too. Keep up the good work, your time and effort will be worth it.

Dear staff and students,

I have read your recent posting on the Holocaust project and seen your photo. How I wish I could be there with you when this project unfolds. I am so encouraged by your enthusiasm to learn about the Holocaust and to learn about human rigths. I truly feel the future is more secure in the hands of educated and compassionate leaders. You will soon be those leaders.

Dear Wayne

Thank you for this great idea.
Though the tiny Principality of Liechtenstein is located in the heart of Europe, the Holocaust was hardly much more than a chapter in history. It was only a couple of years ago that teachers have started to focus more on the Shoah. It is very important, that we make efforts to remember here as well. Liechtenstein will not paint the map very green, but it is a little country which already has some teachers who happily join this great project.

All the best

Arno

PS.: In order to make sure that this great idea won't get forgotten, I have put a little report on it on my website.
